Speedmaster Pro, Racing, or another Diver?

Okay got bitten by the watch bug again, been looking at all three again, the diver would be the SM Pro 300m Diver in black. Always liked the Speedmaster but I really like dive watches.

My collection:
Rolex: blue TT Sub 16613, sub date 16610, Explorer II polar 16570
Omega: Seamaster PO 43.5mm 8900 Black and Orange “ Halloween”
Seiko: turtle 200m, samurai 200m
Tag Heuer 1500 diver

yeah, I know another diver, right. Just not sure about the speedmaster as I like to see the second hand sweeping, one of things I love about mechanical watches. I know it’s my choice but want to get some feedback. The speedy pro would have to be the new one with sapphire crystals.

Leave the diver out as you already have 4. Get a chrono. I have a Speedmaster Pro (hesalite) and love it. Racing's are also great but I prefer the pedigree of the Moonwatch.

I love Diver’s too. Could consider the 300M Chronograph if you want the extra dials. Safe to run the chronograph continually on this one if you want to see the large second hand running.

I toyed with that but ended up grabbing the standard black 300M as it felt nice and slim and lighter in comparison.

Won’t be disappointed with the 300M though.

Have you thought about a vintage Omega F300 or one of its tuning fork relations, or a modern Grand Seiko spring drive? There is nothing like seeing the smoooooooooooooooooooooooooooth sweep of the seconds hand.

You have a lot of divers, so with the above in mind, I think the Speedmaster Racing (9900 mvmt) might be a good choice. My understanding is you can leave the chrono running without any extra wear.

you can do it with any chrono and the wear is somewhat minor.

Any movement in the movement will create wear at the friction points. So no wear at all is incorrect.

Just sell some of your Rolexes and buy the Omega factory, or sell all of them and buy the Swatch group. They will probably lend you any watch after that.

Or get a Speedy racing or a Mk 40 maybe?
