    Hi

At a GTG yesterday i made a trade, and now i am not sure if it is correct.

It is clean, runs well, new mineral glas and original bracelet.

BUT i can't find a ST 145.034 only MD 145.034 so i am a little anxious that there i something wrong, i know the seller so there will be no problem to return it.

    Ref. 145.034
    movement 35580096
    1972
    Cal. 861

MD 145.034 from my reference book is the gold Mk II. A little odd, then.

Could be someone just swapped the case back from a 145.034 onto the 145.014, rest of the watch looks good

Must be one of the last MkII's

Case ref. 145034 came in SS, gold plate, and solid gold.

    Cheers, Al

Funny that all found googling is gold plate, maybee the steel version is a little uncommon.

Hi Thomas. I know this is a really old thread and you might not even find the reply but I had to ask - what's the strap you've got on there? It looks great. By the way, you've probably stopped worrying about the reference by now but the 145.034 is perfectly correct in stainless steel. The main difference, as I remember, is that the case/glass isn't recessed to take a gasket.

    You're right about the gasket.
But as far as I remember, the glass is also not the same size as the one on the 145.014. A bit smaller IIRC.

Mine still has it's original bracelet (original everything, actually, including heavily scratched glass) but she's my daily driver and I was wanting a strap that went well now that it's going to start getting colder.

    IMG_4175.JPG I also have a stainless 145.034. (Overdue a service!)

Does anyone know of any other differences between 034 and the 014?

    On the crystals:
I'm holding the 145.014 crystal (ref 063TA5146TA) at top and the 145.034 crystal (don't know the ref) at bottom.
