Hi all,

Anyone know where a mint or NOS speedmaster pro Alaska can be found. I called the omega boutique on a whim a few months back, and they had located one, but it sold. So I'm hoping there may be a few of these hiding in dealer shelves. Appreciate any help.

Just a heads up, the price is actually 6900 CAD + 12% tax
Ok. Not looking quite like the bargain I originally thought. I paid £2700 for mine about a year ago from an AD here in the UK

So, I was hoping that I could purchase and have it shipped to the US, but omega won't allow it. Plus they stated that import duty would be something like 18% with the dollar rate. Not sure how accurate that estimate is, but importing doesn't look feasible at this point and I don't have the opportunity to fly to Vancouver. So, if anyone has run into one recently at an AD in the US, please keep me in mind. Love that watch, so keeping fingers crossed!

Yeah, my memory failed me. 6900CAD + PST (7%) + GST(5%) = 7728CAD = 5578USD.

Saw one during Salon QP at the regent street boutique in London but it was very expensive. Damn £!! About 8 months ago I saw one in Frankfurt at Bucherer for the old list price which I'd swear was under €3k. Like an idiot, I walked out as I had vintage on the brain. Mistake...but to the OP they are out there somehow!

That one you saw in Omega Boutique during Salon QP......I might have acquired it.......

It was spotted, and bought before either my bankcard or my common sense kicked in. Absolutely LOVE IT. Bought the original strap for the new snoopy to allow me to keep all the original straps pristine.

Never done an eBay international purchase. Tempted, but a little worried about potential issues with an international deal like this. Any tips?

Yeah - don't buy from Italy. It's right behind the Ukraine in terms of horror stories, and maybe equal or worse than all of South America.
