MRSP seems to be €57k as reported by timeandwatches.com, I think possible SS version will be around 18k.

So how many are already emailing / leaving messages at their favorite AD's looking for one? How many switching from the 50th versions to this one?

Too rich for my blood. Caliber 321 SS at that price doesn't do it for me.

The Speedmaster Moonwatch 321 Platinum (ref. 311.93.42.30.99.001) is slated to be delivered in fall 2019, but the price has yet to be announced. Expect it to be in the region of 60,0000 Swiss francs.

600,000 CHF? Maybe one too many zero's...

Looks fantastic. No '11' index in sight. Phew. Just curious about the pricing...

I find the limited editions just a little too “cheesy”. This is sooooo much more subtle. If I had this kind of money I would buy. Remortgage the house?...

I quite like this - but I’m not into it for 57k euro.

If they do a SS version- that’s a different matter..

People whined and begged for a 321, a throwback movement not used in 50 years, and Omega complied. Technically it makes no sense, and they aren't just going to give this away. Target audience for this watch is different than the vintage market. Omega figures there are enough people out there for this $60k-ish model and enough who will cough up $15k to $20k for a steel version. They won't lose, or make, a lot on this endeavor but the marketing and advertising angles are GOLD. It creates buzz, and that's good for Omega.

People were unrealistic to think this was going to be a vintage replica at a slight price premium. People are often not prepared to accept what they wish for.

Platinum, ceramic, actual pieces of moon. That thing is going to be break the bank expensive. :/

The same reason why people buy new 911s over classic air-cooled ones... Different emotions, different customer target.
I drive a 20yo car, so gotcha 😉

Wow..... wouldn’t be surprised, but unless they retail it just through OB, then it will be heavily discounted on the secondary market.

No, they won't, Omega will make just enough to satisfy demand which is why no set number is promised. If it sells fine, if not that is ok, too. These won't be on Chrono24 at 50% off.

Hell of a nice watch. Does anyone think it will be made in steel? Or will the 321 be in any other model of speedy?

Lets see. I would not expect 50% but 30% is quite within the normal at that pricing level.

This is a hallowed movement not just with omega but, had in the past also powered no less than the big 3 - Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin and Audemars Piquet.
Big boys play with big marbles so money coughing is entirely expected

To me this is a little like Porsche. There was the entry boxster, and the 911. Both had target addressable markets. But there was a large gap until the Cayman filled it. Coming back to the 50th - we have the entry watch, and it makes sense to me that Omega want to celebrate and capitalize upon the anniversary, then the high end Gold and platinum.

I’m suggesting that Omega need a Cayman equivalent with enough differentiation to make it appealing to me and my pocket.

Whilst I like this watch. A SS 321, would fit the bill and my wallet nicely.

Looks like the moon meteorite used for the 321 sub-dials is the same as the chunk of rock this stock photo of the gold Apollo XI 50th is on. It never occurred to me the Au Apollo XI 50th is sitting on a moon meteorite but I'm pretty sure it is when you compare the veining with the 321 subdials.

Perhaps members who attended any of the Apollo XI 50th events can share with us whether real moon meteorite was shown. If I'm right, this watch is sitting on $X00,000.
