Sorry, not wanting to be a dick, but ...
I was just telling my nephew the other day that if you begin a sentence like that, it's probably a red flag that you should stop talking at that point.

I personally prefer the blue sunburst dial of this mk40 model (the applied omega logo is a very nice detail and the date pointer has a red half-moon shaped tip that is pretty classy):

I am not a fan of a smaller watches, prefer 42mm however the colors make the watch look bigger. The watch has amazing complication.

I’ve always loved the octopus in all forms. Personal preference is the all black, but they are all great.

Congrats!! Nice dial 😀
this in mine (Japan edition)

Like the colour scheme on this one, you don't see this configuration that often.

I've been eyeing a MK40, beautiful, fun watch!. Does anyone have a photo comparing the MK40 to a Speedy Pro? Just curious how they compare DIA and Thickness wise (in photos...I obviously can look up specs online!). Thanks!!

Nice one, I hope you can be happy with the overall size of the case
I bought myself this watch too in July this year, and love wearing it, yes it is small, but suits my smaller wrists perfect. The one thing I don't like about it, is that when I am on vacation, I don't wear this watch, and put on a Seiko, purely because I don't want to loose the MK40, or attract the wrong attention, but through out my trip, i am thinking that I can't wait to put the mk40 back on, when i get back....it takes me a few days, as I have to set the time and date which is a little long winded...and then I don't like to stop wearing the MK40. So OP, enjoy this delightful unusual watch, it is a beauty.

i’ve just picked this up. Box and papers and in great condition. It’s a lovely thing.

My secret: I have the same movement in an ETA apprentice piece and it lives on a winder!

Folks, I’ve been reading this forum for a while now but this is my first post. For you consideration: a new-to-me Mk40. It is my humble opinion the speedy Mk40 is under appreciated and under valued. Special thanks to Archer for answering a few questions via PM on this piece.
