·Hello All. I came across this strange (to me) Omega (in a small town antiques store) that appears to be ref 145.014. Unfortunately we couldn't open the caseback to see the movement or what is inside the caseback. I took some photos of it though (could've been better/more I realize) before heading onwards.
While it looks like mk ii to me, the dial does not have 'MARK II' on it, and indeed it appears that the dial 'base' has come off and bezel has rotated a bit (or changed?) - however lume is dirty enough on both sides / matching colour so what ever is going on there doesn't appear to be a recent thing. Bracelet end links are marked 148 which according to this OF post wouldn't necessarily be wrong for the 145.014.
So what was I looking at? Collection of parts, or even a fantasy watch maybe?
