Speedmaster Meister Dial - Reference Identification

I was wondering if anyone may be able to help identify the exact reference number of my Speedmaster Professional with a Meister Dial. I believe it's a 1968 as there are a few Meister's Professional's from that era; however, I have not seen one with a similar "dot" chronograph second hand. Before having the back opened hopefully someone recognizes this reference!

That’s an oddity. If all is original, which needs better pictures to assess, this can almost only be a 2998-3 (based on: Lollipop, Base1000 bezel, no short indices in the right subdial).
If so, it would be by far the earliest Meister signed Speedy I’ve ever seen.

TLDR: post more detailed pictures please. Oh, and any input on provenance is most welcome too!

Happy too, here are a few more photos. I eventually will be able to open the back and check which caliber movement this is.

From what I've gathered all original. This piece is from my father's collection, and came from a second hand collectors convention in NYC in the 1990s. Still trying to see if we have the box/papers for it in storage.

Looks like "oval O"? Possibly 2998-1? Or 2915-3?

(Just going from MWO- not my personal knowledge)

Those would have shorter hash marks in the right subdial. This dial is a bit later, hence my 2998-3 guess. (With the lollipop hand pointing in that direction too.)
