    Hello,

I have a close to 1-year old Speedy, and while winding it in the last few days, I noticed a change in the quality of sound in the last few turns of winding.

The initial sounds were clear gear clicks. In the last few turns, the sound became kind of coarse and gritty. There was a pretty significant change in quality.

I am just wondering if anyone else noticed this? Did I damage something from pushing the crown too hard when winding near the end?

I have not noticed any issues with timekeeping at this time. The crown still comes to a stop at the end of winding.

If it’s running fine then carry on....5 year warranty so you’ve got plenty of time to test it before sending in.

Just making sure. It’s my first big boy watch after all.
