Good Thursday Everyone,

I am getting ready to buy my second vintage Omega. My first one was a Constellation D-Shape shown below:

I have been looking for the Speedmaster Chronograph TV Screen for a long time and recently found one that looks to be in a condition to be considered. Please take a look at the pictures and give me your opinion as I am not an expert.

This is the sample, I found:

All opinions and advise are very much appreciated. Thank You!

At the very least I would be prepared to have a hard time finding extra links if you need them.

That's from Mexico. Good seller. Always open to deals. Seems ok so far. Bezel might be polished the wrong way? Better bezel side shot needed. Great watches. Mine gets a lot of wrist Time.

I'll ask the seller about that.

Do you know the seller? Did you buy from him before?

Btw: if you want to change the Day wheel from Spanish, look at the bay for lemania 5100 Day wheels. Much cheaper used and sturdy enough for vintage.

Yes. All good.
@watchyouwant
How long have you owned it? Did you have to service it right away? Looking at the movement pictures, do you see anything unusual?

@Vercingetorix
Pretty interesting morning read. Thank you!

I share with the audience, an excerpt from the read provided by Vercingetorix:

Mr. Cuck Maddox question:
"What is the background on the use of "Seamaster" cases on certain Speedmasters (most commonly Mark series, and c.1045 Speedmasters)? I assume it is because Omega considered these watches to be in water-resistant cases, but are these watches also considered part of the Seamaster line as well as the Speedmaster line?"

Mr. John Deithelm of Omega Vintage Information reply:
"* the case back of such watches are all showing the " seahorse " emblem, since all these watches were originally in the* SEAMASTER * line, although the official name of the Jubilee version is:
SEAMASTER - Speedmaster Professional 125 - chronograph

* it is only much later, when the " chronograph " vogue became so voluminous that we had to separate the sporty SEAMASTER watches from the " chronographs " and give them a separate line !

Hence, because the Speedmaster was considered part of the Seamaster line, they often sported Seamaster backs."

I asked the seller a few questions yesterday and did not hear back from him. He suddenly disappeared and I got this message:

Looks like you got lucky. Oh well...
