If this thread exists already, I apologize, but I couldn't find one. This watch deserves an owners thread. I'll start. I truly believe that once the dust settles from the flippers who bought many of them and are now trying to make 2 or 3 k, these will become very sought after and rather expensive. They are outstanding homages to the 2915, and since so many will never have a chance to own the original, these are a terrific consolation.
Share all sentiments as the OP (except the bit about market value - don’t care) ... but feel it’s true beauty needs a battering / scratching / dinging to fully bloom ...
Yeah, I’ll play. I walked into my AD recently and they had just got in two. I had been wanting to see one in person and was so impressed I bought it on the spot. I love this watch and look forward to the abuse it will get in the years to come. I still look at my Mk40 fondly knowing that every dent and ding is mine I posted this pic on WRUW today but here it is again.

Wrong dial (step ... ), wrong font on the bezel (hell wrong bezel alltogether ), silver subregister hands ( ) ... (lovely watch @oddboy)
I like my 60th Speedy, but so far it hasn't been able to overthrow the TinTin as my daily wearer. And it has a lot of competition when I want to wear something different, which is only about once every two weeks.
Oh hey there @JustTheBezel ... or should I say banned member @speedycosmograph... https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?p=8573318
I can help you with that. Send me your watch and i will return you with a bnib full set 60th anniversary. All freight on me. Hahaha.
Yes, absolutely deserves to be worn and spoken about, and shown as much as possible. My favorite of the Trilogy and gets way more wrist time than the others.
