The Chronograph hand on my Speedmaster (3606 Movement) doesn't return to zero. In fact it seems to be moving away from zero after several timings. Is there any way to correct this? Thanks.
If the hand is drifting more on each reset, the hand is likely loose on the post. Possible that the tube could be tightened, or better yet a new hand installed.
Thanks. I thought that might be a possibility. I had the watch serviced by a local Omega trained watchmaker. He has done a few of my watches and has done a great job. This watch seems to be the exception. The time seems to be erratic with the watch gaining or losing time without any noticable pattern. I guess I'll take it back to him.
