Speedmaster 31130423001005 manufactured in 2005/2006?

Hello,

I have contacted Omega regarding my Speedmaster and they mentioned that based on the ref number the watch was manufactured between 2005/2006, the reference is the 31130423001005 which I thought it was produced from 2014 onwards, is this possible?

2005/2006 would be the 3570.50, are you talking about the serial number dates it to the wrong era?

Yes, the reference model number in the card it says 31130423001005, but based on the registration number 787XXX that I provided to Omega to see when it was manufactured, they answered me that based on the number it should have been between 2005-2006 which not sure if makes sense.

Whoever you spoke to at Omega used the wrong chart, there are two, one for all other watches and one for Speedmaster Pros, it's a common mistake. Your watch is entirely fine and correct most likely, the 2005-2006 number quoted was an error.
