For sale is the hard-to-find and increasingly sought-after Speedmaster Professional Apollo 15 35th Anniversary LE (No. 1,535 of 1,971 pieces) from 2006. This rarely-seen model was featured in Fratello’s Speedy Tuesday article of January 21, 2020:

https://www.fratellowatches.com/spe...ster-professional-apollo-15-35th-anniversary/

THE BASICS:
● Speedmaster Professional Apollo 15 35th Anniversary
● Ref: 3366.51.00
● Cal. 1861
● Steel case with rose gold pushers, crown, subdial rings, hands, markers, and logo.
● Mission Patch case back
● LE: 1,535 of 1,971
● Serial: 7717XXXX
● Released: 2006

The watch is in very good condition overall, with minor scratches and marks commensurate with a 14-year-old piece (see additional notes + pictures below). The chronograph functions correctly with sharp reset. I have roughly timed the watch (by eye) at around -4s/day. I have no knowledge of the watch’s service history. Unfortunately, I don’t have movement pictures.

It comes complete with white cardboard outer box, silver/gray presentation box*, Certificate of Authenticity, International Warranty card (dated March 2007), cards holder*, and Operating Instructions (*see pictures for the deteriorating condition of these two items).

A FEW NOTES ON CONDITION:
As mentioned, the watch is in good shape, but in the interests of full and complete disclosure (and to avoid returns), just a few points to look out for when analyzing the pictures (of course the pictures form the main part of the description):

● There’s a tiny, almost imperceptible dent on the gold of the bezel just under 140
● There is a very small dent on the crown to the lower left of the logo (all but invisible to the naked eye)
● There’s the tiniest of specks above the “1” in the number “10” in the minutes subdial
● The crystal has several scratches (obvious in the direct sunlight shots, almost invisible in others)
● There are slight marks on the case between the crown and each pusher
● The case may well have been polished, but I can’t state this with certainty. The edges are not razor-sharp to me. Please check the pictures carefully to determine whether or not the edges meet your minimum standard of sharpness.

PRICE & SHIPPING:
The price is US$5,995 by PayPal - I’ll cover the fees. The watch and I are located in Japan – transfer to my Japanese bank account is also a possibility. Shipping is free worldwide (by EMS). Other shipping methods possible at cost - tbd. The buyer is, of course, responsible for any and all customs charges at their end.

RETURNS:
The pictures above (especially the macro and direct sunlight shots) are designed to show all aspects of the watch – (minor) flaws and all. As stated above, these pictures form the main part of the description and as they are numerous and detailed, I’m confident gross misrepresentation is highly unlikely. Therefore, I believe requests for returns must be equally unlikely. Please feel free to ask for further pictures if you have any concerns prior to buying.

REFERENCES:
This is my first sale on OF, but I received positive feedback for an OF purchase here:

https://omegaforums.net/threads/vintage-is-a-great-seller.49821/

I also have 100% positive feedback as a seller on eBay as “kenji414”.

Apart from that, many long-term and esteemed OF members will know me as “StevieMac1040” on Instagram (“100% Omega Content”!). I have frequent communication by DM with several of these members.

Finally, although no longer an active participant, I had over 5,000 posts on the WUS Omega forum as Ken G (from 2012 to 2018/19).

While I accept this is not the best reference section ever, I hope the above goes some way in helping to “buy the seller”.

Thanks for looking and thanks to OF for the space.
