That’s ghost bezels would be an interesting thread. I have to say I really like them and it makes the look of a watch special very often. On the other hand isn’t it the easiest modification one can make to the bezel?
I heard the real ones should have uneven color being darker on the inner part and going lighter on the outer.
But still quite hard to tell if someone prepare it or not. Anyway saying it’s 50€ bezel would mean it’s not the only problem. Is it not genuine @kaplan ?

Well, the auction on this one ended...
I didn't have time to follow (sometimes you gotta work...😲)!

But if I understand, it got sold for the minimum estimate 20000€ plus premium...

So there we have it??👍

I don't know enough about Speedmasters to pinpoint the exact model, but I should've bought this in case I find a bezelless Speedmaster one day

Original title was "Lunette omega Speedmaster Faded grise"

Edit: In hindsight I guess a regular DN90 but faded?

It's hard to see the details in those screenshots, but at first glance, it appears to be a service bezel.

The new owner needs to find a pair of original #6 end links. Those aftermarket ones are just horrible...

@ndgal , what do you think about the rest of the watch? You have handled a couple of these before?😀

As already pointed out, the complete hand set is service replacement.
Other than that all appears to be correct.
The faded bezel is most likely original to the watch.
This batch of serial numbers (going into early 105002-62) display bezels that have faded to a similar light grey shade.
While most associate bezel (or dial) fade to sun exposure, in reality, and in most cases where dial or bezel fade can be narrowed to a specific serial range, the cause for the fade is actually due to the manufacturing process during that time period.
