Speedmaster 2915 tropical on auction

There is an other infamous 2915 tropical that sold yesterday in Monaco.
Not 3M this time, more like 160k€ all-in
Was it all legit?

Well, the bezel isn’t real for a start - otherwise the Watch is arguably attractive, and apart from the bezel, is largely original will certainly as original as we can expect any 2915 to be. I expect the luminous material has all been replaced, but the dial is very attractive, and it does have an extract..

Financially, it’s probably about right in today’s market and where I would expect a 2915 to be

More interesting is the one on eBay right now

The eBay one is probably an elaborate fraud.
