So, how bad is the case鈥檚 condition for a mk4? 馃榿
I think it's an average case. The case shape is somewhat lost, looking at the caseband, especially the crown guards.
I am sure the polish quality (the graining, polish direction, etc) is not the greatest given the unevenness.

That combined with a meh bezel, I'd ask for a lower price.

Not too bad at all, most cases that age have been polished a litlle or have been "restored" and the brushing looks intact. The polished line on the left side upwards just looks off to me. Visually still an attractive watch i think. edit ; one to see in person first before buying.

Are these pressed in or screw in? I can't see any threads?
Definitely screw in, as they should be on a 145.022. The giveaway is the slot in the pusher pin itself. Visible in the photo's. 馃槈

But more on the watch; I am pretty sure the case has seen some work. That said, at this price, including a valuable 1039, I would say it isn't too bad a buy, provided the watch speaks to you and you are really going to enjoy wearing it. Whether that is the case, is only, and entirely, up to the OP.
