Hi all!
I came across this 145.022-68 locally.
The dial and hands seem nice, the DON has some chips but overall not that bad but I’m a little more concerned about the case’s polishing condition. Service crown but that’s not that big of a deal…
Asked price 5.8k€ with the 1039
Any input appreciated 😀
Thanks!

Looks like two different watches in the pictures, mixed up when uploading maybe?

With the 1039 and correct end links- I would say price- not bad, and about what I would expect. The case has obviously been scrubbed a bit and I really don't like the CG's, but for the entire package there is some value there- just depends on what you are looking for and what you want to spend. Could always swap the case for better if you ever found better. I like the dial- which is what I care about most.

I was on the fence for this one but it just did not click with me. Very attractive dial but the case not so much. I dont see a logo in the crystal ?

Case has seen polish. Dial looks okay. Hands maybe repainted and relumed. Drop chrono hand isn't right for these from what I know.

I'd pass at that price as prices seem to be falling for these.

Anyone else think those pusher necks look wide? Have you seen inside? Any chance it’s a 105.012 -66?

I was wondering this also.

anyone else see remnants of a CB case?

Edit: profile doesn't match CB case, too thick. But the sides might be shaved slightly? I'm spit balling here. It's what my first instincts read

Calling @ndgal

Edit 2: the case profile looks like the Mark 4, which is a dash 68 case. Got me scratching my head.

It's definitely an HF case from the profile.

Think you're right.

The dial is very attractive. It'd be a nice wearing watch

The dial...?
I tried to zoom in and are there white spots on it?
It looks a bit grainy and rough...
The subdials - is it the quality of the pictures, or is there a white edge?

Aren't the mark 2 and 4 cases the same?

There is an overlap in Mk4 from 145.012 - 68 to 145.022 early 69s as per the above picture. If you combine this with the movement number of this watch it fits for a -68. The MK2 is slightly different according to chronoholic.com.

And a movement picture?
And also the inside of the caseback...

the MK4 version is in essence the same caseband as MK2 only the MK4 is fitted for screw-in pushers. Per the chronoholic blog.

So the OP would need to check the pushers if there was a question.

Ok we like a slow reveal!! Inside looks ok few screw marks. Pusher necks don’t look so fat now.

So, how bad is the case’s condition for a mk4? 😁

I'm confused. Some photos, like the side brushing, look great.

This might be a reflection, but it looks like a wierd curve

The rear looks very polished

This 68 is clearly different but I don't know if this is normal.

I can't be much help, I 'm afraid

Are these pressed in or screw in? I can't see any threads?
