Hi all, I've just seen a clip (47:59 onwards) of an Omega Speedmaster with a racing dial purchased in 1971. I'm going to assume it's a 145.012 based on the DON and information on @Spacefruit's page here. Given the condition, are we thinking legit, or has it been made with different parts? Perhaps a re-lume? It seems like it's in remarkable condition, and it's a beauty regardless. No information provided on the bracelet unfortunately, but seems to be in keeping with the rest of the watch. I actually think it could well be undervalued based on what the "expert" has advised, but interested in thoughts on here.

i saw the same show and he did not value the watch only telling him that the last one sold at auction for £50k.. It really did look almost perfect and if this did ever come to market im sure it would make more.

I saw the episode and the watch and owner both looked 100% legit to me. It was a family piece IIRC and I had no reason to believe it had been re-lumed or in any other way restored, it was just in good condition.
