Hi folks

Stumbled across a nice speedy. Based on the limited pictures everything looks ok and I can't see any major flaws. DON Bezel looks to be in quite good shape. Case shows some wear but case lines are still clearly visible. Tritium shows some discoloration but overall dial and hands are still attractive. Definitely missing a high resolution picture of the dial straight-on though...

Based on the pictures I would rate the watch somewhere between fair and good (on the "good" site). Any opinions? Did I miss something important?

I would rate it as a a nice, honest watch in 'good' shape - taken into account it's more than 50 yrs old...

Is this an exercise in assessment or an evaluation for purchase?

145.012-67 Valuation:

Bezel...... Fair ( I find the significant damage between 70 and 65 drops the insert below good IMO).........6K

Case...... Good minus ( although angles appear sharp, the caseback has been heavily polished, hmm)... 7.5- 7K

Dial........Good minus ( possible flaking of lume, hands too dark, but, a good dial).....................................8K

Average 7 - 7.2 K

So what's the asking price, which is probably the first thing you should have mentioned?

Thanks for the input and sorry for the confusion. Somehow parts of my original text got lost when I posted the thread. 🙄

The watch was on a Swiss auction site for 7k but nobody bought it. I contacted the seller but it turns out that the watch was sold / traded outside the platform. Better luck next time I guess... 😉
