Speedmaster 145.012 (-68) - Looking for service advice

Has anyone ever seen original pushers for 145.012 for sale? This is the only item we have to replace with new parts for now it seems since one of my pushers was already unoriginal (and broken). The new pushers have a slightly different shape unfortunately. So if these are at all available I would be very interested in purchasing it.

Why dont you leave the parts to the watchmaker. The problem with buying original pushers is the gaskets are likely deteriorated or brittle over time and not usable if you want watch to be waterproof at all. And the gaskets are not replaceable. I made this mistake myself.

Unlike the 105.012 and 105.003, aren’t vintage 145.012 pushers the same as modern ones?

Are you sure the 1116 is period correct for the 145.012? I see a couple of sources on this forum saying it is, but elsewhere I cannot find this as correct at all. And if so, it would be with 633 end links? EDIT: I see now the watch chart says 575 end links for the 1116.
If you still have some doubts that the ref. 1116 with 575 end links is correct for a ref. 145.012 just look at page 241 of the MWO book!
The watch was purchased by a good friend of mine new the 12th of February 1969 and he is still the proud owner of this 145.012 with its original ref. 1116/575 band!

Thank you for pointing this out! Incredible watch with everything complete in your picture!

EDIT: Does the MWO not mention 1171 bracelet as correct for this watch?

As an update for people following I have now reached out to SF and the response received was above expectations. I have asked Omega to return the watch and will proceed with SF.

Thank you everyone for all the good advice and tips!

That’s a very good move. I have two old Speedmasters to go to Simon very soon too.

Correct. No need to source vintage parts and take the risk of lesser water resistance with a 145.012 or 145.022. For the record: keeping the original flat foot crown (which I would do) will erode water resistance regardless, of course.

Thanks for the input. Will be interesting to hear what SF says about the final water resistance.
