Hi Forum Folks, and thank for all your kind words!!
Always heartwarming!

But... my OCD has kicked in regarding the crown...
I know that it isn't a Biggy,
but I have looked here on the Forum and on other websites,
and based on what I have found there are both A1 (24) and B2 (32) on this referens.
I have also compared it with the production dates, and that didn't do much good either..

So help on this one would be really really appreciated.

The B2 was on the 67 watch, read the book and move on.

@hansaboy - Not an expert opinion!

..my OCD has kicked in regarding the crown..
Hope this will help our CDO friends:
Ingen fara - ingen ko på isen!!

As you shared earlier from MWO,
..Finally the significant number of examples fitted with 32-teeth type B2....it's production is estimated at 27,000 to 28,000 units
(Excuse the power phrasing and snipping of the quote/s)

Doing a quick and dirty correlation against the serial data on MWO site from the Table A and B.
It seems entirely possible for a subset of 27-28k could be in there.
My assuming that MWO are referring to 27-28k of serials of cal 321 and not the number B2 crown produced.

My humble recommendation for:
Kinda foolish to make a swap to a flatfoot maybe??
Enjoy it! Wear it good health. Love it with all its imperfections.
If that doesn't work, make do, until you can find a BETTER example.
Enjoy the next hunt as it will be the best one yet.

Fit an A1, I’m not fully convinced the 32 tooth was used by the factory, rather was used as an 70s service item and in any case the 24 looks better.

Might do that, I do have a spare A1 now!

Thanks @padders
