Speedmaster 145.012-67 - Service Dial?

Hi all,
I've recently become interested in pre-moon speedmasters. I randomly came across this 145.012 and have been considering trying to buy it. The photos aren't that great, but the condition looks okay. The Cal 321 has serial number 26,54,XXX and the watch comes with an extract that dates it to September 26,1968. It seems to have a Holzer bracelet, which is interesting considering the extract says it was delivered to Switzerland.

I poked around some past forum posts and the seamaster101 site and I noticed a few issues. Obviously the hands aren't in the best shape and the dial seems to be a service dial. I noticed it has short indexes and no applied metal logo. I'd love to hear what people think. Any idea how old the dial might be? How much does this hurt the value? Is this bezel considered a DON bezel?

I'd appreciate any general comments about what it could be worth. The value chart on speedmaster101 lists the value for a 145012-67 watchhead at $8,000(good) and $5,800(fair). I figure it would land in this range, but I'm still figuring things out.

Thank you in advance!

Looks like a regular 145.022 step dial that might has seen its feet length adjusted to match the 321 movement.

Swapped dial makes it a no-go for me personally, as far as your prices go you would have to value it as a collection of parts. Not even a service dial as Seaborg points out but a dial that was (most likely) altered to fit a 321 so the dial value was lowered significantly. I would say between Poor and Fair is a better range. And yes it is a DON bezel, cant see it well enough to say if it is real.

I don’t think a service dial would have the T’s next to the Swiss made. I’m sure I will get corrected if I’m wrong.
Edit: some do have the T’s

I really appreciate your insights. I hadn't even considered the fact that an 861 dial could have been adapted to match the 321. I had based my assumption on this picture:

It initially seemed to me that the dial matched the watch in the first photo. I admit that I am sometimes overwhelmed by the subtitles that many of you immediately catch. The only speedmaster that I've owned is "newer" Apollo XI 30th anniversary I got a few years back.

I didnt know they had service dials for 321 with short indices (that is why i qualified my response above originally, I know I dont know it all) so may in fact be a service dial. But that doesnt change my overall opinion, walk away or buy cheap as a collection of parts. The correct dial is pricey!

Later dial and over polished case-back are the main issues to me. Minor issues include mismatched lume and missing lume in the minute hand. It's not a collectible piece if that's what you are looking for. The condition is definitely below FAIR IMO.
