·Hi all
So after finding one o-ring on my Speedmaster 125 had morphed into black gunk (that shit gets everywhere if you’re not careful!) I decided I’d investigate further.
Upon removing the back cover to the movement I saw the screw-down cover gasket had done the same which would explain the dial misting up.
I popped the crystal and that one was soup too !
Does ANYONE know what the correct o-ring sizes are for these two please ?
I searched the web but cannot seem to find any details in the UK.
I tried getting a 30mm x 0.5 to fit in the groove at the rear but not sure I have enough fingers or time left in my life to get that to work !
The one behind the crystal “could” be a 34mm according to my vernier but I’ll take knowledge over possibility any day of the week.
