ยท@Spacefruit, just to clarify my words, I said that the OP watch has a service dial based on both the facts that it has a wide-T configuration and short plots. As far as I know, again I might be wrong, this type of dial were only introduced at the end of the 1960's (maybe around 1968?).
I see that yours as well, but with a much-earlier production date: 1965. So here I am puzzled.
Concerning mine, I know that it is a service dial, hence my personal inflexion toward thinking some are service parts.
That beeing said, it does not mean that all of these special dials were service parts, I believe that some may have been in this configuration out of factory.
They are so rare that it is definitly difficult to have a clear answer anyway...
