omega_enthusiast probably has the sweet spot as far as flippers go, If you think in %'s, this tropical is a pretty low % flip

As an outsider it seemed wise to me that he did nothing to the watch, inspired confidence by keeping it all original

I have bought from, sold to and sold “on commission” through Jacek.
IMO he always wants to sell, not have watches sitting for weeks. That is his business model, sell, get commission, repeat.
So to my mind he nearly always prices to sell, anything too highly priced is usually “on commission”, ie from a customer or another dealer, he advises what the sale price should be but you get a little leeway. He is usually spot on with pricing in my experience. Selling within hours. (My experience only)

I agree that most of his Rolex inventory moves pretty quickly, but that certainly wasn't the case with the brown Speedmaster with the fake brown bezel that I posted above. It sat for months, and the price gradually dropped. As @wsfarrell noted, it was eventually marked SOLD, but who knows what really happened. I've seen SOLD items show up on other dealer sites.

Did the guys at Omega manually type every extract, back in 2008? A 'Speemaster'?
That would bother me more than a relume.
Cheers,

A few other tropical lume close ups not presented before (one 2998-1, one at the other end of the 321 spectrum with a 145.012-67) that looked more kosher to me. Though I understand the 145.012 is not a direct comparison.
