In fact, after showed my first speedy : a LCD 1620 ::love::
    Post here : https://omegaforums.net/threads/new-member-from-france.81697/#post-1051103

And I remember one member commented that when you start with Omega, it's just the beginning of a passion.

    And it's true...

    Today, I come back for show you my 2nd Omega : a speedmaster ref : 176.0014 or TV dial with a caliber 1045 from Lemania ( 5100 ). Honnestly I didn't knew this caliber before but I read that it's a reliable caliber ( I hope )

Just received yesterday, I seen few on the forum.

Why I choosen this model of speedy ?
I would liked a speedy Moonwatch but on my wrist it's looked too big, so I decided to try to find another speedy, because I love the tachymeter and the story behind the Speedmaster. And when I seen this model, the shape, the TV shape, I felt in love.

    So, now it's mine ::love::

I have the box ( original ? ) and the manual but not the certificat.

The bracelet is named 'bar' I prefer this version to the 'mexican' but it's personnal.

Funny things in this version as few vintages speedmaster, the back comes with a seamaster sign ;)

    All functions work

I'm not a specialist of Speedmaster so if you detect missing bad things, false hand or anythings with the watch, please don't hesitate to comment.

    Thank you in advance,

    Benoît

I don't see anything bad except some wear and polishing. I think the crown is wrong. But you obviously found a nice set incl. box and instructions.

    Well done! ;)

You say you went for this one, because the size of the "regular" Speedy was too big for your wrist? Well this one isn't much smaller and even thicker... :D

Super nice , looks like the crown is definitively not the good one, and maybe a bracelet link intermediate looks like a gap width difference correct ?

They are rare, especially in good condition.

But looking for one sounds like a very good idea.

Hi and thank you for your coments ! ;)

My bad, thought all was original :/ but have you got a picture of an original crown ? Because I can't find the differences between mine and another ::shy::
Do you know if the buttons are the good ones ?

True but I don't know maybe because of this special shape look like less big that the moonwatch on my wrist :)

The bracelet looks correct for me maybe on the pictures 4, the second link on the right look little bit smaller but anyway I will take off for my wrist :D

Thank you for your help ;)

I have a NOS 176.0014. But I can't send any pics before the weekend.

You will have to do some Google picture research and find that the crown should be thicker and the OMEGA logo different.

Sorry, but I don't know the original part number of this crown.

Anyway, if you need further assistance, send me a PM. I will try to help the best I can.

Had the chance to buy one of these a few months ago. I passed because I felt it was just too big for my small wrists.

Thanks for sharing. That is an absolute stunner ::love::

The same watch as yours, a 176.0014. Not as immaculate though. I love the 70s vibe with the TV dial but I have 6.25 wrists. Lol

Nothing’s gonna stop me from admiring them, though!

Is a seamaster caseback correct for this watch? I have a 1045/5100 although a different ref. and it has a speedmaster caseback. 20210424_114119.jpg
