SuperHero
·Up for sale is my Omega Chronostop Driver 145.010
Caliber 865, serial#258xxxxx which puts it around 1967/68 (please correct me if wrong).
Full Service by local watchmaker approximately 12 months ago. Inside caseback has his service markings. *Photo of movement and inside caseback were taken just before the service.
Dial
The dial is amazing and, it’s all about the dial. Lume plots are all intact full. Print is crisp, clear.
Hands are correct and the absolutely gorgeous creamy, lume matches the plots on dial.
Case is unpolished and you can still seeing correct brushing on top. A few dings in case but nothing major. There is some pitting where the spring bars are installed. ***Another unpolished, mid-case is included in the sale should you choose to swap from the original (photo available).
Correct crown and pusher; a few dings on the crown.
Caseback has full engraving and is visible. Still deep and not washed out.
Original Spring Bars - cool!
The spring bars are also original to the watch (and they look like it!). This was a nice find when I went to take the photos. Originality is awesome.
Bracelet- Milanese with used, replacement clasp (the original was repaired in a very original fashion, albeit, not correct!)
Notes:
1. Replaced the chronohand with NOS; the one that was on it wasn’t correct.
2. Replaced the clasp with genuine used one (no.27) as the old one (included) was...”repaired”. For the original, 2 of the 3 parts are perfectly useable.
3. Crystal is replacement, non-Omega.
4. Returns only accepted if the watch was grossly misrepresented. Please ask any questions you might have and I will answer as best I can. The photos are high res so be sure to zoom in.
$1250.00 USD (PP fees incl.)
Watch will ship from Toronto, Canada (F2F would be great!)
Shipping must be traceable/trackable and insured for the full amount. Shipping, Customs and Duties are not included in the price.
DM me for any questions and I will respond as quickly as I can.
Feedback on other forums (buy/sell) and eBay (as a buyer) are happily available upon request.
Thanks to the Omega Forum for the space to share.
