·I bought this watch earlier this year. I'm selling it as I have recently bought a vintage Rolex and need to balance the books a little.
The previous owner sold the watch to me via another watch forum. He had owned the watch for many years. Last year, he sent photographs of the watch to Longines and they sent him the Extract from the Archive. This dates the watch to October 1973. I am including this in this sale.
The watch itself is beautiful. Yes, it has a few scratches here and there but nothing that detracts from its almost 50 years in my opinion. There is an odd scratch on the plexi, one in particular across the 12 marker. The manual wind movement has functioned perfectly with no noticeable deviation. There is a new croc strap in black and these pictures were taken yesterday morning.
It has the original crown and the original gold plated buckle. It comes in a genuine Longines box which dates to mid nineties.
