Thanks for sharing this article. I just bought a 145.019 from a Swiss dealer. My first Omega. Seems like everything fits the bill, the only thing missing is the bracelet. Its on what appears to be an old Omega leather bracelet, you can't see the signed clasp in this picture. I don't mind though, I like the leather and I'm not diving with it anytime soon. Doesn't appear to be a re-dial, thankfully. I would have looked out for that had I known. Could have been re-lumed at some point, but its not lighting up at all, appears to be tritium and the lume in the hands matches. Very few battle scars, the case and brushed edges vs. polished edges are very sharp. I tried to zoom in better but its just an iPhone photo. Oh and the box is obviously new, he just gave me that, probably better to ship with to the States. Let me know what you think, I'll try to take a better pic if anybody is interested.

Welcome to Omegaforums. Great first post, great first Omega!

Thanks! One other thing about this one, the case back doesn't have the carved out Seamaster Horse thing, Its more of a stamp that is smaller, shows the horse logo and says 120m. The dealer said it was from 69' I don't know if that helps date it at all.

馃榾Soccer?

That looks like one of the FIFA watches, he has an example in the article. Nice piece! I actually noticed on my 145.019 that the leather band is signed Omega. The buckle was, has the correct stamping, etc. but I wasn't sure about the leather band. You can barely see it, but its signed. Note sure if the watch retailed that way, probably not. Seems from the article that they came on specific metal bands of the era.
