My secret username is my first initial and last name .... clever huh. Avatar is yours truly bobbing around in Gonzaga Bay located in the Sea of Cortez in Baja Mexico. My buddy at the end of the line now resides in my belly. I have a little fishing spot which I put together with a few friends. Attached is a little photo diddy to prove that all I have claimed is true and I actually have a little seaside Sugar Shack on the bay.

I am a Gringo and Carpenter by Trade ... retired General Contractor these days.

Yes ... I love the place. Ultra rural, completely off the grid and very beautiful. Plenty of fish, but in need of a little more Bikini traffic.

My name is Matt, and I spend a lot of my life on the water. Avatar is a sprite from the NES game "Final Fantasy" I have always thought it looked cool so there's that. I am a perpetual watch flipper, and am currently looking to offload my Polar Explorer 2 to get another Speedy Pro.

Actually, we are NOT all Americans! I'll bet half the posters on this OMB are from elsewhere! My nom be plume is CANUCK, and you'd be right if you guessed I'm from Canada! I described the origin of my avatar earlier in this thread.
I think he was implying that if you are from North, Central or South America you are, in fact, an American. Just not a United Statesian American 😁

By your logic, if you live in France, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Portugal, or any other European country, you are actually NOT French, Swiss, German, Spanish, or Portuguese, you are really EUROPEAN! Sorry! I live on the North American continent, but I am CANADIAN!

my avatar is a stuffed animal i got almost 40 years ago when i was born, which guarded me sleeping and now is looking after my kids while they are asleep.

Kingsrider is the English translation of my emigrant forefather's last name. My last name is, shall we say, the American interpretation (not even close to the English version). I guess no one spoke German.

The name I made up on the spot from nothing, just plucked it out of the air. It now sounds like I am a dense pirate or a construct of blueberry and rhubarb. Can't say I have any love for the name, or those foods, but I am stuck with it. Que sera sera.

As for the avatar, I'm presently reading Fleming's Moonraker, so it's all things Bond at the moment. My next book or whim will determine my next avatar which I frequently change on the whim.

Avatar now the Hologram Rimmer from one of my favourite Brit comedies Red Dwarf. Might soon be Ace Rimmer his alter-ego.

And smeg isn't just an unfortunately named Italian white goods company.

Red Dwarf resonated with me too, since I watched it as part of 2 Unit English in the HSC. Will never get over the fact that Rimmer was, and is, always a smeghead.

As for my username: I honestly can't remember! I used it a lot whilst I was in online gaming and I'd hear over voice communications "How on earth is a boomerang guilty?"
My pic was taken when my partner was extremely fascinated by this peacock that was roaming near a farm in Adelaide. She was trying to make it show it's feathers off...
