It's better to have a friend with a boat than to have a boat yourself.

Unfortunately my friend sold his boat and moved to La Jolla, California.

42' Hinckley SW sloop

What's that old saying....the two happiest days in a boat owners life are the day you buy the boat, and the day you sell the boat...

My main obsessions are music, role-playing games, comics, and just starting to think about getting a shortwave radio...

A HOLE IN THE WATER THAT YOU THROW MONEY INTO. (I later discovered that there's also a hole in the sky that you throw money into, and it's much much worse.)

Not mine but identical to it except mine was a '66 (converted to 12v from 6v), solid green, and no luggage rack behind the pop-up. Mine also had the uber-rare gasoline heater had I ever wanted to burn to death. Did I post this before? If so, too bad. I miss it. I sold it to a guy who had just gotten out of prison, and when he came to pick it up, I told him I couldn't find the key... he said "Oh, don't worry about that, it won't take me but a minute to make a new one."

Motorcycles for me. A HD Road King Classic for daily commute and Laverda's from the 70-ies for sunny weekends.
