Ok I finally feel comfortable revealing that I'm a chocophile - I like chocolate.

It seems an odd conjunction of hobbies, watches and chocolate, and I thought I was the only one till a recent thread showed that gatorcpa and ulackfocus were fellow chocophiles. So I've decided to come out 😁

Mostly dark chocolate nowadays - French chocolatiers (Michel Cluizel, Valrhona, Bonnat), Italian (Slitti, Amedei), American (Amano, Patric, Taza), and Venezulan (El Rey). While there are putative health benefits from dark chocolate, that's a side benefit. The gustatory pleasures of a good chunk of chocolate cannot be underestimated!

Nigel, if you're a dark chocolate fan you have to find yourself a decent bottle of port. They go together like peanut butter & jelly - but for adults. Luckily, there's a medal winning tawny port made in a local winery that's relatively inexpensive: Renault American Port. Also, DiGrazia vineyards in Connecticut makes a decent American tawny too called Blacksmith Port. A doctor owns the property and strives to use less sulfites to make a more healthy wine. He even has a Honey Blush with no sulfites. However, my favorite maker is Graham's. Their 10 year aged tawny is about the perfect match for dark chocolate. Chocolate is great. Port is wonderful. Together though….. well, until you try it yourself you won't believe how much each flavor compliments the other.

Well weathered pine, overly dry and probably beyond salvation 😉 Oh and here in Scotland that sweet Browning probably equates to ten to fifteen 😁

While I haven't owned many, I do have a soft spot for fine, custom made knives. The handle on this one is made of fossilized Mammoth tusk.

The one you had to stop for that was making a left - at 1:00 into the video.

I totally want one of these awe-f🤬ing-some bikes!

Ah yeah, he can't make a left there. That was just his brake lights and too much sun. There's also no "left on red" permitted in Australia, as far as I know. 😉

I'm confused Trev.
If you are a bike, stick in the cycle lane and stay out of the car lanes!
If you are a motorbike, get out of the cycle lane!

Bikes are permitted in the bus lanes (QLD). The bike lane is sometimes more dangerous (car doors opening, poor pavement conditions and debris, etc). 😉

No right on red here, they can't seem to sort it out. So many intersections would be far more efficient with it.
