Certainly no offence intended, friendly banter that obviously did not travel to well.

Many happy times in your new property 馃憤

Absolutely non taken. I understood it was a friendly mocking/banter/etc. Both by ulackfocus and by you. I just did not understand about what.

Maybe my mocking of the sub standard building technology used in Great Britain and Australia did not go thru very well either...?

Swedes are having great fun when visiting these places - watching how houses are built.

staying on topic, I tried this one out today. Thinking of taking up shooting as a hobby, it's a log process in Sweden to get a license, like a year. You have to join the local gun club, there is a class, written exam and a few target exercises that you have to pass - then the board of the local gun club has to endorse/approve that you are serious, then you can apply for a license at you local law enforcement office ( checking criminal records and such)

Anyway the Glock G17 gen 4 馃榾

So you're into training gastropods to fetch, are you?
They're not good to eat, that's for sure. I had made a much longer tongue-in-cheek post with pictures relating to my other hobbies but I had problems posting it, probably due to length. But the point of the snail (my college mascot by the way GO SNAILS!!!) was to imply that a stick is a perfectly good and collectable thing. IMHO anyway. 馃お I have too many hobbies, keeping me from excelling at any of them. Motorcycles (Honda Shadow, GasGas XC250), guns (SigSaur P232, P228, a few shotguns, revolvers, and rifles), music (a ton of guitars, amps, keyboards, effects, etc), and cars (all gone now but once including 65 Triumph Spitfire, 1969 Z/28 Camaro, 1970 Chevelle SS396, 1965 VW Westie). I collect slide rules and first-gen HP calculators. I am also a licensed amateur radio operator. and blah blah blah.

I love a fine pair of English shoes.

I like this guy. 馃憤 On an American made kick now - Allen Edmonds & Alden, but have considered a nice set of brown cap toes or wing tips.

I need a nice pair of brown, maybe dark, been looking at a nice pair of Edward Green, as good as John Lobb, but they'd be for casual wear and not for work - "No Brown In Town"... 馃槈

A while back I introduced a couple of friends to caviar. So we formed The Caviar Club and recently I hosted a soir茅e at my home. We had 14 ounces of Russian Osetra, Dom Perignon '96, Remy Martin Cognac, and Belgian chocolates. It was grand fun.

This thread is great (even if I'm finding it much too late). As for me, I like spending my time with anything that hasn't (in my opinion, at least), been improved upon over time. So I guess that includes watches, stereo equipment, furniture, and cars. Below are my McIntosh MC275 amplifier, which has been in production (with a few pauses) since 1961, and a glamour shot of my Eames Lounge Chair, in production since 1956. Pretty sure I need a pre-moon Speedy to go with these guys...
