Another 700.... where is your factory located?
I have a soft spot for GMT!
Factory used to be in Switzerland, at least till they started making some questionable ceramic bezel stuff!

Bought some interesting inserts from an old jeweler a few months ago. This was the pick of the litter. I think it was originally a red/brown insert for a 1675/8 but faded to a light purple.

A bit of kissy-kissy-touchy-touchy with some 70s seamasters.
The coke 16710 Full Set, Z Series with rectangular dial came to me second hand … once it was discontinued in 2007, or local Official Rolex dealer offered this Factory new one at a 20% discount on the RRP. at that time i wasnt interested 🤦🤦 and pointed it to a good friend who gladly acquired it the very same day.
And only 10+ years later I could convince him to pass it on to me, as it did not get wrist time any more… 😀😀

Am I the only one wincing at the possible scratches happening here 😲😉

I'd love to pick up a 16753 nipple dial "Root Beer" while prices are still somewhat reasonable, but trying to find one in original condition without questionable replacement parts/polishing is a bit daunting. Any resources or tips you all would suggest for someone who isn't a vintage Rolex expert?

I'm quite partial to the oldie-goldies...
I wrote up all the notes I collected when buying this one if anyone's interested.

For all gold GMT fans, I can’t stress enough how @morningtundra ‘s page here is the best reference out there on gold GMTs. It the most detailed, up to date and comprehensive page on the topic, and summarises very well what you could otherwise only discover by having to go through hundreds of different forum threads. Here it is again for your eyes and bookmarks! http://www.vrfm.io/gold-gmt-masters

Just picked this up yesterday after about five months of waiting at an AD here in Japan. It is an instant top three in my collection. That jubilee bracelet really sparkles in person and the GMT functionality is actually useful since I work with people in many different time zones.
