OK , so the Sub has a page and I thought it was about time that the GMT got a thread too. So I'll start with my 1675 Root-beer from 1970. I know there are several more GMTs lurking on the forum.

    Today, Modern bezel

Here's a late 60's Pepsi I had for a short time to shoot pictures and sell.

That particular watch wasn't mine. I was paid to sell it because the owner wasn't good at shooting pics. I did get to wear it for a while.

However, I have owned Rolex before including a ss & white gold DateJust with a copper / salmon dial.

Calling it salmon make you feel less self-conscious about it being pink? ;)

I'm in the market for a 1968 Pepsi, should anyone admit to having one. Dennis perchance? Now we now he's a Rolex man and a big Archie fan .....

Pink, salmon, cherry blossom, flamingo, berry, Pepto Bismal.... whatever you want to call it, I liked it on that watch enough to own it for a couple years.

No, not me. I'll keep my eye out for you though since I have many contacts on several forums. I have friends in high, low, and medium places.

Um, yeah...... neither really. I'd settle for Rolex well before Archie though. :p

Man I wish I had the cash at the time to purchase that one, that was a great example. Here's my '63 Gilt with PCGS:

Well I've bought it but haven't got it yet. Yippeee ... :) 1968 GMT Mark 1 dial with souffle markers. Delicious!

You were meant to be buying more Omegas, not GMTs :p

They do look nice though those 1675s with the faded pepsi bezels

It must have been the Others ;)

Yep, I particularly like the faded versions. And it's my FIRST birth year watch ..... Not sure it'll be my last though if I hang around here too long!

As long as you don't impinge on my year (1966) there's no problem. :p
