路Hello to everyone!!
Well, I wasn't able to manage to hold the desire to click the bid button and I won this on an auction 馃え
Described as an 2179/5 with no internal and case back photos it was a bit of a gamble I know but the watch arrived and everything look correct in my opinion. Case back is indeed stamped 2179/5, the movement is the correct 30T2SC from 1944 considering the serial, hands are correct and most probably relumed (?), the case looks and feels sharp but doesn't have the vertical factory brushing I saw in another post here so probably had a light polish in the past, dial has aged (smoked 馃榿) to a beautiful copper if you see it up close and it seems untouched..
My concerns are these..
I did recearch the refference and I understand 2179/5 made US Army and civilian versions of the refference, but never came across that type of dial. I saw it only here:

by @tdn-dk as a 2179/6 馃憥 I then searched 2179/6 and again not many with that type of dial too!!
Also is that crown correct? And having the watch at hand I notice if you shake it you can feel the dial/movement move just a bit inside the case. Is that a considerable issue and can it be rectified by a service? The watch is going straight for one as it runs quite fast.
Do you mention something else I am missing?
Thank you for your time guys.
