Thanks for posting Max!

Love shooting .22s. Love "paper punching" for fun and frolic. Love competitive shooting sports. Love hearing about shooting outside the United States. Love shooting outside the United States. I've only done it on two occasions, in England and in Austria.

@speedmasterfan88 thanks for sharing Max. Shooting is fun and happy to see you involved. Germany has a fantastic firearms industry, here in the US, SigSauer, Heckler and Koch, Walther, Korth, etc are iconic brands known for quality.

Hate to monopolize so much of this thread recently, but my first Tupperware ccw was released to me today. I got one of those Kydex iwb too, great fit but it’s s far cry from a nice leather hand made. No range report or carry report yet even.

This one is another HK (I love German stuff so put the Sinn watch with it). P30Sk 9mm with nights on it. DA on this is very stiff, very long too. I kind of like it as a safety feature. SA feels pretty nice. Carry won’t be as easy as a J frame, but it can go bang a lot more before a reload and I’m going to try it.

Here's my little bit of fine German steel. Not one I'd carry, but an interesting slice of firearm design history.

After looking at the HK’s in this thread. You guys inspired me to tote this one around. I'll let the HK earn her keep,

Nice P7

A good friend of mine owns a P7. That handgun probably saved his life. Two bad guys jumped over a counter in his shop. He had the P7 behind the counter. One of the bad guys grabbed the P7 pointed it him tried to fire the P7. Lucky for my bud the dumb ass crook did not know how to operate the P7.

That gave my friend enough time to get his carry gun out and take the crook out. He had the other crook at gun point until the local leo's arrived.
His shop has plenty of security cameras. I watched the video of that ordeal. He told me his P7 is definitely a keeper for him.

Some great pistolas just posted above.

I've come perilously close to acquiring a P7 on occasion and seeing Observer's in its box doesn't help.

Anyone ever owned a SW 945 performance center? They seem to have held value really well and I see one local for sale. Looks like someone’s safe queen too.

If you dont already own a 1911 then I'd say go for it. Everyone should own at least one 1911 and any performance center version is top shelf

Just renewed my non-resident CCW for Utah. Never been there and don't plan to go anytime soon. I also have a non-resident CCW for Florida. And I live in New Jersey. So why have these permits for states in which I do not live? One word: reciprocity. These two permits have reciprocity agreements with 36 other states. Unfortunately, when I obtained them one included Pennsylvania. I find myself in PA quite a bit for both business and pleasure. The whole scheme was about being able to carry legally (I won't carry illegally) in the keystone state, and the plan looked good right up until Pennsylvania pulled their reciprocity with other states. Ah, the best laid plans....

Forget obtaining a CCW in New Jersey. Unless you're LEO or can show a legitimate extreme need, NJ ain't happening. I refuse to fool around with shady things like establishing a bogus Pennsylvania residency. I'm determined to play it straight or not at all.

My hope is that a change of governors in Pennsylvania may lead to a reinstatement of that CCW reciprocity. Meanwhile, I lock my Glock in my range bag and ammunition in a separate lockbox.

I regret this state of affairs for you ras47. You're a deserving fellow. Deserving of liberty that is.

You might want to add New Hampshire non-resident to cover it almost to the Canadian border)

Wait a minute!

Is that a model marked 3 1/2-inch N-Frame .357 Magnum or is it actually a "pre" Model 27? It's a five-screw gun and has the prominent twin pins securing the sight base. Gotta be a pre-1957 example.

I have a crabbier looking one from around 1954-55. I've not "lettered" it yet. Shown with a Colt 3 5 7 from about the same time period. Oh, and an IWC about the same age as the revolvers.
