Yeah my Dad said he put maybe 10 rounds through it. It’s been sitting in a safe ever since. I’ll send more pics when I get home later. Thank you for the compliment!
Rambo could fire a full belt from an M-60 and Sgt. Saunders(Combat!) could empty a Thompson, both from the hip and take out a sniper that missed without batting an eye.
Now those were heroes!
I don't see any holster wear on the cylinder or frame of that Python. It looks to be a real beauty, we have gotta have more photos.
Very cool! Thanks for sharing.
What stories these could tell I wonder......
Say, just found this top piece recently and thought I would take a pic of the whole family residing here at the Wryfox household.
All are Remington 1858 New Models made during the US Civil War from 1861-1865.
Top one is the new one, which is martially marked for Army use. It is also tuned up for re-enactment use with a superb trigger and tight cylinder. Feels like new(better than new) but is 160yrs old.
Middle one is a real survivor, having 'been through it'. Rattles a bit but functions just fine. Civilian model.
Bottom one is a superb original condition example, also martially marked. Very nice mechanically.
