Hi as a new member here, I have probably one of vthe oldest "fire"arm here 馃
I own some "Giffards" (French Manufakturer, St Etienne) from End of 19th century....these are shooting with compressed (liquid) CO2. The shown pistol is 4;5 mm caliber and I guess from 1890.

I mean, it'd be hard to miss...馃槤
You may note that I went for the thumb safety in addition to the DAO trigger (which is the only trigger available on the 365). This is as much a product of my affinity for the 1911 as it is my desire for a little more security while concealing. I generally carry at 4, but this holster (finally) enables appendix carry.
Should work in both positions actually.

Since frozen CO2 (Dry Ice) is becoming commonly available at grocery stores these days, at least locally, I've been considering whether a gas powered pistol loaded by putting chips of dry ice into a chamber with seal and letting it reach room temperature might be an option should C)2 capsules and tanks become hard to find.
The early CO2 airguns were loaded using CO2 canisters manufactured for fire extinguishers.
PS as for IWB carry up front I've found that a small frame revolver with barrel of 3-4 inches sits perfectly behind my belt with nothing getting in the way when I sit down. Also much easier to draw standing or sitting. I do use a simple soft suede side out sheath for the gun, actually two layered with suede liner as well. The texture keeps everything stable without interfering with the draw. no need for any extra hardware. It works just as well with my FN 1922.
I was a firearms instructor for a federal agency for 22 years. I ALWAYS advised AGAINST appendix carry for off-duty (it was not allowed while on duty). I think there are more cons than pros with the idea and I don't meant to start a learned discourse (or argument) about it, just stating my position.
This morning my youngest grandson and I went shooting. He is ten years old and really likes shooting AR's. I let him run three magazines total of 90 rounds the ar pictured
Reading the posts about carry methods and holsters. Carry methods and holsters are very personal and subjective. It took me awhile to learn what is a good holster I have a box full of holsters that I went through to find holsters that work for myself.
Nice way to do 10mm, a Colt
Delta Elite.
I like 10mm better than I thought I would. It makes a good all around cartridge choice for most reasonable handgun chores and is a good alternative to the grand ol .45 ACP.
I need to gather in a copy of that Omega book. Books contribute to a hobby's enjoyment and make it more rewarding.
