It sure will !
They've already been a huge recall on Pythons, seems they have issues with timing and lock-up.
The guys I know that have received them aren't very happy, to say the least.
They don't even come close to the old snake guns, so far.

Huge, no. Their VP stated at Shot Show 3 of 2000 first shipped had operational problems. And 2 had aesthetic issues.

They'll get it sorted out.

The reports I've heard are spectacular, every bit as good as original, or better.

Grease gun.
As that appears to be the biggest wristwatch I have ever seen, I did not know flava flav had an interest in wristwatches. I knew he was a wall clock enthusiast, however. (I can hear the groans already...)

I'll look at a new Python once I can get my hands on one but I'm not expecting it to stack up to my real one. I'm a fan of that famous old Colt bank vault lockup and from what I've seen the new Colt revolvers just don't have that.

4 boxes of ammo down the pipe today, 100 357 and 100 38 special. Not one hiccup. I love this revolver. I prefer the trigger to my older one too, there’s no stacking, although both are fantastic.

My old hogue mono grips fit the new frame perfectly. Action pic for those interested too, apparently 14 less parts.

I’m very pleased.

So happy to hear this, huge Colt fanboy here, but I hear some have timing/lock-up issues. They have recall on some. They’re going to get it sorted out I’m sure. Love hearing positive reviews though, I wanna get one myself.

New addition SW 4566 Fresno Sheriffs 150 anniversary

Very nice pick up. Looks great wearing the wood grips.

The 4566’s is my favorite in the 3rd gens 45xx series. Through the years I have owned all models of the 45xx series of 3rd gens. The 4566 TSW is probably the best of the 4566’s. I just could not warm up to the billboard on the slide or the accessory rail other than my anal issues about that it is the best little piggy of the 45xx series

The 4566 in the picture I posted has no safety just the de cocker and it goes bang when the trigger is pulled this is one my old carry guns that I did not want to fumble with the safety when the pistol was ready to earn her keep. Not the wisest choice but it works for me.

I was gonna say there’s a 4566 w/o the rail. The grips came with the 4506 but look better on the shorter barrel/slide I think. Turkish made by KDS, but they’re very similar to Nil’s out of Germany. Not a big fan of rails either, but I say buy any and all 3rd gens you can get your hands on if the price is right.

My S&W is what I suppose is the first version Model 59. It has an unprotected windage adjustable rear sight.
I never liked the feel of the grip. The thin plastic grips are okay but the slab sided grip frame has no radius at all at the web of thumb. Alright for most I suppose but I don't have much flesh there.
From the looks of later models others have had the same problem and they addressed it in later grip designs.
I considered filing a radius there but decided not to alter what might be a collectible .
The early version have a rather sloppy trigger pull, it's apparently that way for all these and not just mine.

When cleaning up a CZ52 for a friend I was surprised to find the grip of these felt no better in my hand, though it looks like it should be comfortable. I guess my hand only fits a revolver grip well.
When firing this same CZ52 years ago I found I could not hit the ground with it if I dropped it, though no one else had a problem with it.

Great news. After hearing about the recall I was a bit spooked. I look forward to getting some range time with one.

As a collector of vintage Omegas I feel I should offer a vintage piece to this thread. It is always nice when an old watch turns up with a complete original set of box, papers etc, so here is an equivalent from Sam Colt's London factory in 1856. Well used and used well.

And inside the compartment the original case key, spare mainspring, Colt nipples and a trigger.

Gentlemen, I would like to share my latest find, as I know many of you will appreciate it.

I'm used to Marlins. So when I took this guy to the range, I was worried something was wrong with the action because it wasnt smooth. Took it to my gunsmith, who after working the action a few times handed it back to me and said "this isnt broken in yet." Serial puts it at 1956.

I’m still concerned with some of the reports. I ran it until it was hot, but do far no issues. I’ll let everyone know if problems.

I do think those holding out for the 4.25 will have made a better choice. I think the 6” is a bit nose heavy.

A few get through (shouldn't have at all) and puts a ding on the whole batch.
4.25 is what I'd rather have myself.
