Have these even been released for sale yet? I don't think I've seen any real life wrist shots that weren't promos.

I have a super racing with spirate. I picked it up at Christmas from OB

I wouldn't count on it. Gone are the days of LE watches from Omega.

I remember seeing a video awhile back where Raynald was talking about focusing on their core signature lines and DNA. No way they’re developing a whole new line.

Whatever they develop, it'll be folded into the 4 main core lines somehow.

Spoke with OB Costa Mesa & they tell me it is forthcoming…55th Anniversary. Not sure what, how many, etc. I guess we wait for all the predictions & assumptions….

Are you then also expecting a 55th Apollo 11, seems quite short notice as we're just 3+ weeks away?

My guess is there is something all ready to be released. They probably haven't told any of the OB managers since the didn't want it to get leaked out unofficially. But agree, cutting it real close. Also missed some of the other Apollo anniversaries, but this is 11,can't see them screw the pooch and miss this one.

My guess is Omega is trimming back the Apollo anniversaries since really the only missions that matter are 11, 13 and to a lesser extent 17. If Omega did an anniversary watch for the Apollo 4 50th, everyone would be accusing Omega of milking the Apollo missions to death.

What they should be working on is an entirely new watch, with a new modern movement instead of re-hashing Speedmasters. Something to rival their own Speedmaster! Fat chance.
They did that in 2007, the Hour Vision. Nobody bought it. They did it again in 2015, the Globemaster. Nobody bought that either. Omega will stick to the things that sell.

Omega already milks the apollo missions to death!

Omega really doesn't do LEs anymore but the last Snoopy was such a barn burner that they may be tempted to try to catch 'lightning in a bottle' again with a 55th Snoopy. Swatch Group is in business to make money and if there is a path to make a healthy profit from another Snoopy LE they will be on it like 'white on rice'.

They did the 60th Bond, the whole Summer Blue series, and some Paris Olympics watches since the Snoopy 50th. They'll definitely do the 55th.
No more numbered limited edition, but it'll be limited production again.

When do you expect it to land roughly?

Snoopy 50th was announced in October if I remember correctly. If Omega does do a 55th, my guess is same time frame.

I doubt they've even finished filling all the 50th pre-orders.
