Anyone experienced or saw "He" marking on the helium escape valve of your Omega Seamaster Professional 300 appears to be erased?
Purchased this preowned beautiful watch through ebay authentication little over a month ago. After researching for a bit all seemed legit with watch movements, serial number matching, and able to register through omega with chronometer scanner card as well.
However, I just realized that marking on helium escape valve is just T instead of He. Seems like its been polished or faded away.
If I go to Omega AD will they be able to replace the valve or just simply not worth it?

Hard to say from the pics, but the watch looks like it’s been aggressively polished—I’d bet the He marking fell victim to the polishing wheel. It will get replaced when you send the watch in for service.

Thanks for your input. It doesn't really bother me so I will keep it as it is until it requires a service

Yep it’s been polished with the He valve still in place. Is the crap around the 12 mark on the bezel just crap or damage? I’d be more worried about that.

Oh yeah in picture it looks damaged. It is lighting/reflection + stain. Double checked by wiping it and all good

Agree that it's just been aggresively polished. And if you get it serviced by Omega it will be replaced (along with the winding crown) as a standard part of the service.
