Hello all, I bought this off of a reputable seller on reddit and it seems real, but you can never be too sure. It's my first "nice" watch so I want to be really sure.
Looks fine to me, always nice to see a movement shot but guessing you don't have tools to open the caseback so I wouldn't worry about it. Congrats on your first nice watch.
Gorgeous last series 2531ish with SL and holograph on the caseback. I wish I had one but hard to hunt these days. Congrats to it and wear it in health!!
SL = Super Luminova. Holograph is what we usually call Omega Globe/World logo etched on the case back. https://forums.watchuseek.com/f20/omega-world-logo-582696.html Those two things indicate your watch is a late production 25315000
Isnt the dial supposed to say automatic? I thought only the quartz one didnt include automatic on the dial
Since the watch was opened and the movement thoroughly viewed and regulated, I am just curious as to how the OP might have had any suspicion the watch could be a fake?
The serial number on the movement appears to be 80639869... Serial number: 80639869 Article ref: 25318000
I don't know much about verifying authenticity or what to look for. It's my first expensive watch and I just wanted to make sure.
