My Elgin self winder of 60's style but unknown vintage still has very active lume on hands and tiny dots at the markers.
Two of the dots have been dislodged with age and I can see one of those wedged under the edge of the crystal.
There's no T marking to denote Tritium , but the Dial at least isn't Swiss made.
Guess I better have it checked with a Geiger counter before opening it up for servicing.
36mm 1943 Breitling Chronomat 769 - dial looks original and case is very sharp, but I find it hard to believe it survived 75 years in this condition. Someone please either tell me I'm not dreaming, or disabuse me of my enthusiasm!
Very good idea. This type of specific thread can be interesting, of course, but also very useful as a reference, so I encourage contributors to note case sizes!
As I have small wrists, I own a few nice ones. Here is a sweet 32mm Lemania:
Love it. I've the same watch - I'll take a pic if I can find it...lol
I always liked your taste.../no homo
