SM300 17455-62 opinions and wisdom

Recently, I decided I wanted a daily driver 2913 (or almost 2913). Polished case does not bother me. Imperfections are ok as long as they aren't ugly. An original crown would be nice but far from a deal breaker. Missing bezel insert is about 90 percent of watches like this that I see for sale.

I'd like your keen eyes to find issues that I might have missed. I did my best to look the dial over, and my opinion is it's original, European market. Hands re lumed. Sweep seconds may have been painted while on the pinion. Mostly the dial is most important to me. The serial at 19 mill is good, cal 552 is also good, European market matching dial. Movement needs cleaning but is working.

It has not been purchased. Be brutally honest, (well, brutality isn't necessary) but no need to tell me about patina and wear. Those things I see and am ok with if price is good. The caseback is well worn with faded engraving, and inner back looks good with proper stamping.

You can't accuse the seller of cleaning it up too much before listing, like a used car seller. It's dirty as hell. Looking at the case profile....these were noticeably thinner than 2913, right? Different movements.

I don't know what else to say that you haven't stated. Dial looks original. Case is worn. I didn't see a pic of the crown. The movement looks tired and needing service. Pics are gone now? It's on the bottom end of the scale but still a desirable watch that will look good on the arm. Mine started off waaaay worse than this one and has been a perpetual project over the years. Don't pay too much for it because you will end up investing 2X more than purchasing a nicer example.

The crown is a service part. I see several of this ref. for sale from 5k to 8k usd. The dials are all along the continuum. Some are re finished, some have very odd color for aged radium. I have not seen any sell under 4k and none priced under 5k. Nice examples that need little go closer to 15 or 20. I'd be trading for most of this value. Thanks for the input.
