Been looking through eBay... but last few weeks its been very little good stuff around... my watch list is literally empty right now =(
This has been on my watch list so I knew it went for $2716 Omega Awesome Cloisonne HandMade MINT 18K Solid Gold Vintage Automatic Bumper: http://bit.ly/TzjAvZ
THAT is really unbelievable. Modern aftermarket cloisonne for that kind of money? Is somebody not reading carefully or have I completely misjudged the market? Plainly we'll be seeing more of these as it is obviously pretty profitable.
I will admit my watch list is lighter than usual (now watching about 25 items) but typically I have between 25-50 items in the list - all vintage omega related but not all of them watches, some of them are watch parts.

Strangely enough, the past 4 weeks for me have been the most productive of the year. It's a situation where deals you have been working on sometimes for several months all happen to come together at the same time.
You missed the funky 2915-1. It sold again for $7000. It's a scam. The first buyer wired the cash and never recieved the watch. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VINTAGE-OMEGA-SPEEDMASTER-CHRONOGRAPH-CAL-321-STAINLESS-/300818708645?ru=http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VINTAGE-O...=&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
No, I can use crowns more then money, but that does not mean I will pay any price. That being said Hoi, I too will pay a high price for something I need badly and if I were desperate I would pay the $100. I prefer to wait for luck and a cheaper BIN or use watchmaker sources. We all have our sources.
I am not desperate for a crown , I only asked for a friend who's living in a place where people pay more than $150 each http://omegaforums.net/threads/how-much-would-you-pay-for-an-original-crown.1951/
