That 103 with the red bezel looks fantastic, nice watch!

Thanks! It was an LE they released a couple of years ago. The stock Sinns are nice tool warches, but they also do a lot of cool LE's in very limited batches. I think this was a run of 100.

Probably one of the most easily readable dials of any chrono I own - love this watch.

I find myself wearing this one often.

How's the thickness and weight on the 556? I often wear a Tudor BB41 as my 'everyday' watch, but it's a big, hefty thing. I've been starting to eye a 556 B as an alternative, and am curious to hear how others feel about their 556's.

If you're asking me, mine is not a 556 but an 856 A B. It is 40 mm in diameter and 11.8 mm thick. I don't know the weight but it wears very comfortably. I had an 857 for while and it wore very comfortably also.

Ah, thanks for correcting me. I guess I should have noted the pretty significant difference in the designs 😵‍💫.
Still helpful for me to hear, as they seem like they have similar dimensions.

I've owned two 556s -- they're a dream watch to wear, solid and lightweight, and have excellent legibility. Now own a Damasko DA36 as my everyday tool watch and it has been fabulous. Great design and legibility and case is as-new 8 years on. Not a fan of their chronos but their more basic 3-handers are superb, IMO. As is the Sinn 556 series.

My new Sinn 556. Blue sunburst dial and H link bracelet. Love it!

Nice! I've been eyeing one of these. I also think it'd look great on a fine link bracelet. Or any nato or a strap too, come to think of it. Such a versatile design.

My precious Sinn now bears scars caused by me tripping over on a footpath while stupidly walking and reading a map a couple of hours after getting off 25 hours of flights from Australia last month. There's only so much tegimented steel can handle.

Wear it with pride. Those scars are well earned..

The plan is to keep it as-is. Not to wear with pride but to remind me about the terrible toll the virus is taking in northern Italy. The scratches came from a footpath in Milan last month. I know this is trivial compared with what millions of people are going through there, it’s a small personal thing.

Looks great. Sinns also do not loose that much money, so if/when you choose to move on, you won't loose a ton of cash. Great buy
