That 103 with the red bezel looks fantastic, nice watch!

Thanks! It was an LE they released a couple of years ago. The stock Sinns are nice tool warches, but they also do a lot of cool LE's in very limited batches. I think this was a run of 100.

Probably one of the most easily readable dials of any chrono I own - love this watch.

I find myself wearing this one often.

How's the thickness and weight on the 556? I often wear a Tudor BB41 as my 'everyday' watch, but it's a big, hefty thing. I've been starting to eye a 556 B as an alternative, and am curious to hear how others feel about their 556's.

If you're asking me, mine is not a 556 but an 856 A B. It is 40 mm in diameter and 11.8 mm thick. I don't know the weight but it wears very comfortably. I had an 857 for while and it wore very comfortably also.

Ah, thanks for correcting me. I guess I should have noted the pretty significant difference in the designs 😵‍💫.
Still helpful for me to hear, as they seem like they have similar dimensions.

I've owned two 556s -- they're a dream watch to wear, solid and lightweight, and have excellent legibility. Now own a Damasko DA36 as my everyday tool watch and it has been fabulous. Great design and legibility and case is as-new 8 years on. Not a fan of their chronos but their more basic 3-handers are superb, IMO. As is the Sinn 556 series.

My new Sinn 556. Blue sunburst dial and H link bracelet. Love it!

Nice! I've been eyeing one of these. I also think it'd look great on a fine link bracelet. Or any nato or a strap too, come to think of it. Such a versatile design.

My precious Sinn now bears scars caused by me tripping over on a footpath while stupidly walking and reading a map a couple of hours after getting off 25 hours of flights from Australia last month. There's only so much tegimented steel can handle.

The plan is to keep it as-is. Not to wear with pride but to remind me about the terrible toll the virus is taking in northern Italy. The scratches came from a footpath in Milan last month. I know this is trivial compared with what millions of people are going through there, it’s a small personal thing.

Looks great. Sinns also do not loose that much money, so if/when you choose to move on, you won't loose a ton of cash. Great buy
