My U50 DS has arrived!

I'm in love, but does anyone else think the OEM rubber straps are a bit overkill? I may switch this over to a NATO later.

Congratulations ::rimshot::

Awesome watch - I also had it in the basket but finally didn't push the button... Must admit I regret it looking at your pics 😀

You could also try a Canva like on the limited 556? I think this would also work well.

Or a plain simple fabric:

A few more shots. I don’t have a Scurfa on a Sinn right now

Thanks! I might order one of those and a couple others to try out. Can never have too many straps to play with!

Thanks! I'm very happy with it so far. I just like the nerdy watch humor of having an artistically scuffed dial inside a scuff-resistant case 😀.

I think it would look good on almost any strap, especially a fabric or NATO strap... But I feel like this watch is going to see a lot of pool and beach time, so I think it may spend most of its time on a rubber strap.

What's a ball park figure on what a used 856 S (the one with the "regular" 556 A dial and a black PVD coated case) should sell for? I've been offered one with a Sinn rubber strap, but can't get a good bead on what they tend to go for on the second hand market.

Bought mine (non-PVD) for around 1100.00 a while back on the steel. I reckon somewhere between that and 1300.00 or so.

Mine has moved onto my son. Still have this pair after moving on my U50s. The 206 AR, while undoubtedly thick, is maybe my fave of all the gazillions of 7750-based chronos I've owned, just a superb pice of watch engineering.

And the UX is a killer technical diver -- bashed my around lakes and caves with it most of the summer and it looks and feels new and has gained 3s over 11 months.

Put my U50 on an Uncle Seiko strap. The Sinn rubber strap with tegimented clasp was just too big and over-engineered; I think the proportions of a thin rubber strap look much better on it.

"tomorrow, I quit"
I thought I was through buying chronos, but it seems I was wrong.

A 1990s basic sinn 103 just happened. No automatik script, but a 7750 inside and early 103 serial so 1995 probably. Curiously it's not that easy to get this watch on pictures, I 'll have to get the nikon out.

The Sinn rubber clasp is ridiculously large. I've fitted a cheap ebay deployent on mine and it's a game changer.

It definitely isn't tegimented but it's now wearable.

I didn't have to make any adjustments so the brobdingnagian clasp can easily be refitted.

I love this watch brand and the unfussy way they go about doing business. I have the Sinn page open with a 105 UTC white dial in the shopping basket. I am trying to resist clicking the checkout button but I really do need GMT with the travel I do and don't have one so..... I might need a word with the wife.

When your finger accidently presses on the mouse button as you get off your chair to seek permission ..... problem solved!

Funnily enough thats exactly what happened. I didn't tell the wife yet as I am going all in on the fact it's easier to beg forgiveness then ask permission 😀

Anyone here that own both an UX and the newest 42mm iteration of the smp and/or a speedmaster? I am curious of how the UX wears compared to one of those, because I really want an UX, but cannot try one on due to lack of a physical store, so I have to order one from abroad. And I am afraid that my 165mm (flat wrist, about 55m across) is a bit small for the 44mm case… I feel that the smp is comfortable, but I am afraid that the UX wears a lot bigger.

The 105 has already arrived. I suppose thats the advantage of being three hours drive from Frankfurt.

I like it and have put it on a black NATO already.

Has anyone put the EZM1.1S on a stealthy looking black strap, or have any suggestions? Can't be leather or rubber and prefer not a NATO.
