Yelp, Trip advisor, Google Reviews, Next Door…etc. Online reviews are posted to a community. One can read said reviews and make decisions on whether or not to patronize a business. Sometimes the business responds to clarify or offer a solution. Thats called “Social Listening”. I think that it is perfectly reasonable to post on service good or bad from a well known provider of services to the OF community. No sacred cows. Here is hoping the subject of this thread rights the ship. I’ve never personally used him but thought about it when I was frequently traveling between Chicago and London.

Avoid Simon Freese and anything to do with him or his company.

He quoted me a watch service in June 2025 and said it be done by the end of August and I only got it back at the start of November 2025

The only time I spoke to him in the phone at the start of November 2025, he agreed to a 50% refund and hasn’t paid it yet….

Your money is better spent elsewhere.don’t make the same mistake I did.

You negotiated a 50% refund because you had to wait another couple of months?

Another bullshit post…

That's quite the deal actually... really nice of Simon to do that.

I can provide pictures of email between myself and Simon Freese if you so wish. I have nothing to hide.

He still hasn’t paid it, I’m chasing him up. That’s the issue. Hasn’t kept to his business word as you’d expect if your paying good money.

Congrats to you for finding a great watchmaker. I’ll call Simon Freese tomorrow. That’s one hell of a deal.

He hasn’t paid it, he lied. Therefore is untrustworthy.

Ehi, your point is clear, we got it.
Sorry for what happened to you, but there's no need to do that.

I think one post is sufficient. No need to repeat yourself over and over.

Wait until you see how long it takes Omega to send out LEs, versus the expectation of only a few months. Wonder if they would give me 50% off a Snoopy... Hmmm...

Simon Freese has had my watch for over a year now with many false promises of it being returned. I have even asked for it to be sent back without it being serviced but still nothing received. Going to take action to recover it. Anyone else in a similar situation?

What a disaster . There is NO Excuse at all for that Behaviour . None . The Watchmaker and his Customers are forming a Bond , when entrusted with a Watch. No Level of personal Problems rectifies that . Then you have to stop working for the Public and make that clear in your Website/Conversations/accepting Work small Print .

And that's how it is. If my personal problems had played a role in my work, I wouldn't have had any clients for 22 years. And believe me, there are a TON of personal problems!

But seriously, good luck everybody. Even for Simon. Hope everything turns out well.
