Hello all

Check it out, a very cool 23 jewel Sicura diver with rotating inner bezel, strap included.

Was asking $5.66/jewel, NOW only $4.31/jewel ($99 USD), net to me, plus shipping. Payment by PayPal Friends & Family, Wise or eTransfer for my fellow Canadians. Known members can suggest other friendly forms of payment. Watch ships from my home in Vancouver, Canada.

The watch is 38mm without the crown, and 13mm thick. Lug width is 20mm. The dial is extremely nice - the mark you see near 8:00 is on the crystal, along with a few other minor crystal scratches. The date wheel starts to slowly advance at about 9:30pm, and confidently clicks fully over by about 12:00 (+/- 15 min when I tested it) - everyone but @JwRosenthal will be sleeping at this time of night anyway. The rotating inner bezel moves quite freely, and according my WM (during a cursory exam) is fine for wearing but can be taken care of during a service (maybe via a new crystal or a new gear) if you want factory-grade resistance. This assessment is simply due diligence I was doing prior to sale, it is not a guarantee.

Lume remains moderately fun as shown in the pic and accompanying video below.

The case has nice sharp edges and is showing signs of a brave and adventurous life with plenty of gas left in the tank.

Note the wear on the lug ends (weird right?) but, this is only really noticeable when you have it up too close to your eyeballs.

On to the caseback. WTF? Yep, someone obviously didn’t have their dog’s old Kong toy to unscrew the case back with, so they cut a groove to provide a handy slot ::facepalm1:: There is still plenty of stainless steel left though so it’s good to go, but as it is, I imagine, this watch might be most comfortable on a Nato or bund strap. Funny enough, the Nato strap shown here comes with the watch, how handy! A replacement caseback sold on EBay recently for about $15, so if you want, there’s a solution.

Strap included

The hand wound Swiss movement (marked SIG 40) is running strong and keeping good time over a 24hr trial. The service history is unknown.

Thank you for looking, and thanks to the forum for the space!

I think I’m gonna grind a slot like that in my Rolexes- I hate that stupid Rolex back tool-this is brilliant!

Cool watch Dave!

They should have continued right through the caseback to let the water drain out.:whipped:

In horological terms, this would be a H2O Escape Valve, useful in case you were held underwater longer than anticipated

Edit: To be clear though, the watch is not water damaged, and the boutique caseback itself does not jeopardize the water resistance.

Back to the octopus...

Lots of looks, but no offers. Is it my back side that you aren’t fond of? 😬

It’s really not that bad 👍
